Commander Shepard – Mass Effect 3

Project Description

This was one of those last minute projects I made when I couldn’t finish a bigger one I was working on.  To pattern the dress I made a spandex mock up and drew out the sections on the mock up, then cut those out and used them as the pattern pieces for the final dress.  The dress is all made of stretchy materials to make it close fitting and have that spacey look.  I used matte metallic spandex for the bulk of the dress, black and red stretch PVC for accents and then printed vinyl for the piping detail on the neckline.  To do the N7 logo I used heat transfer vinyl.  The shoes were purchased and I removed the rhinestone details.  Necklace was purchased.  The wig is from and was cut and styled.  I also added some bright red highlights to the wig with a sharpie marker.
