Candy Kane – Castle Clash

Project Description

Had the pleasure of collaborating with the makers of Castle Clash on this fun project!

The top, bottoms, gloves, and leggings/boot covers are all made out of stretch velvet.  The top is trimmed in faux fur and closes with hook and eye.  Bows are made of cotton and the gold designs were created by masking it off and painted it with gold fabric paint.  For Candy’s staff, I used a large wooden dowel sanded and painted with acrylic and detailed with red velvet ribbon.  The top and bottom parts of the staff were made out of insulation foam, carved and then covered in glue to seal it.  It was then hand painted with acrylic.  The bell, large gold ball, and red crystal were all repurposed holiday ornaments.  To create the floating effect I used a clear piece of acrylic, attached the red part and then glued it to the top of the staff.
