Reason: I was lucky enough to be apart of the Lucky Star dance team for Bandai/ACP for Anime Expo 08. I was original the understudy, but at the last minute I was asked to fill in and be Ayano. I was happy to do it and even happier to be a part of the dance in the end.

Construction notes: The dress itself wasn't to hard to make, aside from fitting issues. The team had followed a tutorial given to us from another member, which made it rather easy when it came to alterations to the pattern. The top part of the dress was based of a dress pattern, the bib and skirt portion was made of one based on the tutorial. Since this was for Bandai/ACP I made sure the costume was built extra nice, and because of that I think this is one of my nicer construction pieces. I don't own a serger so to prevent the skirt from fraying I fray-check and used pinking shears on all the seams. Took forever. Pom-poms, socks, shoes, and wig was given to me by ACP for the project.
