Reason: This costume was made for my boyfriend, Ice_Man. He’s a huge Nightwing/Robin fan so when he asked if I could make it for him I was happy to do so. Plus I owe him for all the help he’s given me on props/armor recently!

Construction Details:I had gotten a pattern for a male body suit, however the sleeves were raglan sleeves, the suit had front center seams and had stripe details on the side. After re-drafting 95% of the pattern, the original pattern was pretty much an after thought! I used normal black and blue 4-way stretch spandex. The blue designs were top stitched onto the black body suit and gloves. Boots were just painted black. The mask was cut out of the face masks you can get at craft stores. Wig was slightly trimmed and styled. Sticks are dowel rods painted.Photos(click on the image for full view)
